Lord, may these words of my mouth please you. And may these thoughts of my heart please you also. You are my Rock and my Redeemer.
- Our words should be pleasing to the Lord. Also, our thoughts should pleasing to Him.
- He is our Rock and Redeemer.
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
Sister, are your words and thoughts acceptable as a sacrifice to God? If we bagged up our thoughts and words, went to the altar to present these things: Would God be pleased?
Our body is a living sacrifice to God. The thoughts and words we speak should be a sacrifice back to God, because they are a part of the body. He wants us to please Him.
The thoughts we think, and the words we speak are worship to Him. What does your worship look like?
The Lord is our Rock and Redeemer. He is steadfast and unmoveable. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Sister, He know all the thoughts and words in your mind and on your lips.
In this new year, present Him with pleasing and acceptable thoughts that truly worship Him.
May all my thoughts be pleasing to him,
for I rejoice in the Lord. Ps 104:34
Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established. Proverb 16:3 NKJV
The Lord knows people’s thoughts; he knows they are worthless! Psalm 94:11
Established in this verse means be secure, stable, set up, directed and ready.
Our commitment is trusting in the Lord to help secure our plans through him. He knows our thoughts. He knows that they are worthless. When we have committed everything we do to Him, then he call direct the plan.
So ladies, have you committed your work (career, motherhood, etc.) to the Lord?
Our worthless thoughts will never be established apart from our commitment to the Lord.
Establish your thoughts through commitment to the Lord.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (NLT)
Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy. (Voice Translation)
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. (The Message Translation)
Our mind is a battlefield. Satan constantly tries to put thoughts in our head. When our thoughts don’t line up the the TRUTH found in God’s Word, you can be certain that thought was not from your Father. Satan only comes to seek, kill, destroy you by putting those negative, defeating thoughts in your mind.
Sister, the battle has already been won by your Lord and Savior. You can take those thoughts captive. Satan lost a long time ago.
Stop letting a powerless Satan mess with Powerful Sister equipped with the Power of the Savior.
We are to:

- Fill your mind
On these things
- Worthy of Praise
Sister, what does your thought life look like, if you run it through the filter of these 8 things?

You’re cheating on God. If all you want is your own way, flirting with the world every chance you get, you end up enemies of God.
Sister, I love The Message translation. Cheating on God. You can’t be flirting with Satan. Allowing him (Satan) to fill your mind with all the so called beautiful things. He can’t provide you anyway. As a result, you end up cheating on your Main Man, number one Lover, Jesus.
Sister, you can’t have two men. You will love one and hate the other. Someone is going to get more attention, leaving one to be jealous.
If you cheat too long, you end up with serving divorce paper to the Good Man, Jesus.
Our bite in Romans instructs us to renew the mind. Change the way you think. Focusing on Godly values and attitudes. Transforming comes with spiritual growth. You will be able to know for yourself God’s will is for your life. His will is good, pleasing and perfect.
When you change the way you think that you will be able to discern what God is saying. If you are in the same old pattern, habits, same people, and same thinking, don’t be mad at God when your circumstances still the same.
He tells us that we have to renew our minds and be transformed.
When you want a to get fit, for new nice body. You begin to change your eating habits, and maybe even workout. After implementing those changes that you see your body transforming.
The same is true for our spiritual growth. When we want to get close with God, we have implement some changes but from the inside. Checking your heart, praying, and reading His Word.
Transformation comes with spiritual growth.
