The Light shines in the Darkness. And Darkness can't overcome it.

The Word

In the beginning was the Word. Jesus was here in the beginning

He was with God

The Word was God. Jesus is God in the human flesh
The Creation

All things were created through him
-
Apart from him not one thing was created
The Life
-
Life is found in him
-
Life was the light of men
The Light
-
Shine in the darkness
-
Darkness can't overcome it
-
True light gives light to everyone coming into the world
-
The world did not recognize him
-
Not received by his own people
The Man who testified
-
A man named John
-
Sent by God
-
Witness to testify about the light
-
So that ALL might believe through him.
-
He wasn't the light but testified about the light
-
We are to reflect his light
The Children of God
-
Those who receive him
-
Right to be called of God
-
Those who believe in his name
-
Born again not of natural descent spiritual new birth
The World became flesh
-
Became flesh and dwelt among us
-
Observed his glory
-
The one and only son of God
-
Full of grace and truth
-
John testified that Jesus ranked about him and existed before him,
-
We received grace upon grace from his fullness
-
Moses gave the law Jesus gave grace and truth
-
No one has seen God but Jesus was revealed
An unseen God became a seen God in Christ. An untouchable God became touchable in Christ.
